Siamese grace in sable coat, With eyes that gleam, they seem to float, From bounding leaps to tender purrs, His heart a song, his spirit stirs. A “peanut butter pupcake” sweet, With paws that dance and tail’s soft beat, Though sister Manuela schemes and tries, He loves her still—no need for guise. Through years’ soft weave, he’s grown best boy, A tender soul, a bundle joy, Arturo, cat of playful fame, Forever cherished, loved by name.

**Ode to Manuela of Malaga** In the barrio of sun where the orange trees sway, Lives a fierce little feline who rules her own way. Manuela, the queen with her coat of deep night, A flick of her tail, and she’s ready to fight. With whiskers like anchors, she prowls through the street, Each step like a dancer, her stride is elite. A bully by nature, she struts with great pride, Yet softens for Arturo, her brother, her guide. With claws like the daggers that flash in the sun, She’ll challenge the bravest, for she’s never outdone. Her meows are a chorus, both playful and bold, In the heart of Malaga, her stories are told. Daring to climb up the highest of trees, Stretching and yawning, caught in a breeze. An acrobat’s spirit in every bold leap, With a twitch of her ear, she commands and she keeps. Her kingdom’s not vast, just the rooftops and lanes, But in each little alley, her reign never wanes. From dusk until dawn, she surveys her domain, With a flick of her tail, she dispels all disdain. Yet in quiet moments, when the sunlight does gleam, You’ll find her curled softly, lost deep in a dream. Beneath silver stars, her battles all fade, As Manuela, the bully, finds peace in the shade.
